The theme for our 20th Relay For Life is decades.
See this year’s Relay teams and their chosen decades and plans for August 3

From 4 to 10 pm, we’ll be walking the track; hosting decade-themed team booths with fun items, food, and beverages for sale to raise money for American Cancer Society; and bringing our community together. There will be music, food trucks, silent auction, and more. All are welcome to participate. After dark, hundreds of luminarias will light the track celebrating cancer fighters and survivors and remembering those we’ve lost.

Frequently asked questions

What are the site rules?

No smoking, vaping, or alcohol and no rollerblades, skateboards, bikes or scooters.

Where should I park?

There is street parking in the area and there are lots on school grounds along 4th Street and 9th Avenue. The event is on the 3rd Street side of the building on the track. Please leave open spaces along 3rd Street for our food trucks.

Is there reserved or recommended handicapped parking?

You may drive down to do drop off at the end of the track and park in the nearest lot.

Are there bathrooms available or places to wash hands?

We have regular and accessible portable bathrooms with hand sanitizer but no handwashing station.

Cash or card?

Both are acceptable by our teams and our food vendors.

Can I bring my dog?

No, unless it is a certified service dog.

Is there medical assistance at the event?

One of our team members is a nurse who will have first-aid supplies, and the South Metro EMS is just blocks away and on alert for our event.

Do I have to run or race?

No. Our goal is to always have someone walking the track through the duration of the event.

Is there seating?

We will have a limited number of tables and chairs. Bring a camp chair or make use of the bleachers. Bring an umbrella or other sun shade, but remember, nothing may be staked into the ground.
